Amy Beth Spence, MS, LPC

she/her

I am passionate about being a counselor because I believe in the value of helping others reach their potential, and I love sharing this fulfilling work with my clients.

As your therapist, my hope is to sit with you in the thick of your uncertainty and discomfort as we work together towards growth and understanding. Therapy can be challenging, but the benefits are more than rewarding. I am passionate about helping clients become deeply connected to themselves and more meaningfully related to others in this process.

If you have been considering counseling, you may be feeling overwhelmed by life’s circumstances and alone in your pain. You are not alone. Let me partner with you; together we can work to own your history and redefine your future.

I have experience with providing treatment and invention to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence, as well as adolescent and family crisis intervention through working in higher levels of psychiatric care. I utilize Mindfulness, Creative Therapies, and Humanistic Orientation to meet each client where they are in their journeys.

I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Texas at A&M-Commerce and am a Licensed Professional Counseling (License No. 80851).
